AM - 3 miles @ 6:20 pace (19:00). I did this run inside because it was just more convenient to hop to the 16th floor then put on all my winter running gear to run for less than 20 minutes outside. My miles on the treadmill were 6:34, 6:14 and 6:04 (18:52). My calves were so so tight from the weekend's runs on the treadmill and the weight session I got in yesterday. I will say I am starting to get a bit of a runner's high when I get on the treadmill. Pretty cool considering how much I hated it before.
PM - 6 miles @ 6:30 pace (39:00). I ran this outside. My calves were still super tight/sore, but after about 3/4 mile I was warmed up and felt fine. My first mile was 7:02 as I started out slow, went up some hills, headed into the wind and went through 200 meters of snow. After that I turned it up, but felt in control and was relaxed and was able to get my average for the entire run down to 6:28 pace (38:50). 10 minute stretch and 132 crunches.
I have a fast workout on the track tomorrow. Talk to you then.
