AM - 7 miles @ 6:10 mile pace (43:10). I ran this on the treadmill again since last night we got about 4 inches of snow in Chicago and I would have little to no chance to run fast outside. I ran this a little faster than 6:10 pace (43:00) which is 6:07-6:08. I have a 7 x 800m workout on the treadmill this afternoon.
PM - Workout = 7 x 800m @ 2:27 (4:54 mile pace).
2 mile warm up @ 6:30 mile pace (13:00)
800m #1 - 2:27
800m #2 - 2:27
800m #3 - 2:27
800m #4 - 2:27
800m #5 - 2:27
800m #6 - 2:26
800m #7 - 2:25
2 mile cool down @ 6:30 mile pace (13:00).
I did this workout on the treadmill. Which meant everything was controlled and I had to keep up to run those times otherwise I would have probably had quite a fall off the treadmill. We finished the last two 800m's a little faster. I did 16 miles today on the treadmill, never ever thought I would do something like that. The workout was good and I would rate it an 8/10 in terms of difficulty because of the amount of mileage I did in the morning, so you're a little tired from that and that there is no room to ease up on the treadmill because you will fall off otherwise.
Total Miles = 16
Easy day tomorrow.
